A PDF exported from your software: colour pages are detected automatically.
A3 or A4, colour or black, single or double-sided: the estimate updates with every setting.
An email tells you when it's ready: free collection in Tournai, or home delivery.
Or delivery to your address or a pickup point: Belgium, France and 20 other EU countries.
On a sheet laid sideways, whole, without being cut or distorted. The configurator shows the sheet in landscape from the start, and the preview shows each board as it will come out. A portrait page slipped into the same file is turned to fit on the sheet. At the layout step (« Mise en page »), you can still rotate, enlarge or move a board.
Keep colour if your boards carry renderings, photos or a colour code to respect: only the pages where colour is detected are charged in colour. Choose « Tout en noir » (all black) for a working set or a review: the whole document comes out in black and grey, at the black and white rate. The count of your colour pages is shown before you add it to the cart.
An A3 side costs the price of two A4 sides, VAT included: €0.20 in black and white and €0.60 in colour for a single plan. The price drops with volume: in black, the A3 side goes down to €0.10 from 5 black A3 sides on the order; in colour, to €0.50 from 50 colour A3 sides. 80 g paper is included; thicker paper is charged extra, per sheet.
A3 (297 × 420 mm) is the usual size for project boards, and it is the one the configurator offers at the start. A4 (210 × 297 mm) suits sketches, details and documents to slip into a file: change the size in the settings. A plan drawn in A4 and printed in A3 is enlarged to fill the sheet, unless you choose « Taille réelle » (real size) at the layout step.
As a PDF, exported from your software (AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator or InDesign) at the sheet size, in landscape. Check the line weights when exporting: a very thin line on screen can come out pale on paper. JPG or PNG images are accepted too. A single file can weigh up to 120 MB, and all your files together 450 MB.
Yes: upload a single PDF with all your boards in order, or several files, which you then arrange in printing order. Each board is analysed and charged for what it is, in colour or in black.
At the store, Rue de l'Yser 11 in Tournai, with no pickup charge: an email lets you know as soon as your plans are ready. Otherwise, a carrier delivers them to your home or to a pickup point, in 22 European Union countries including Belgium and France. Delivery costs depend on your postcode and are shown in the cart: allow for delivery time in your schedule.
On this page, you order online the printing of your plans, sections, elevations, sketches and project boards in A3 or A4, at Xtra Copy, Rue de l'Yser 11 in Tournai. They are copies like any other, set up in advance for plans: the configurator opens in A3, single-sided, the sheet is shown in landscape, and you choose colour or black and white. You upload the PDF, adjust the print settings, then see each board on screen before adding it to the cart.
The price follows what is actually printed. The configurator detects the boards in your file that carry colour, a rendering, a photo or a filled area, and those are the ones charged at the colour rate. A plan drawn in black stays at the black and white rate, even if you keep colour. If you prefer to print everything in black, choose « Tout en noir » (all black): colours then come out in shades of grey and the whole document is charged at the black rate.
An A3 side is charged as two A4 sides, and the volume tiers are counted the same way, separately for black and for colour. Example with the October 2026 price list, VAT included: a set of 10 A3 boards, single-sided, 6 of them in colour, costs €4.40, that is 6 colour sides at €0.60 and 4 black sides at €0.20. All in black, the same set costs €1.00. An estimate appears as soon as your file has been analysed, and the exact total, with any delivery costs, is shown in the cart before payment.
A plan drawn in landscape is printed on a sheet laid sideways, whole, at the largest size the sheet allows: that is what the preview shows you. Copiers cannot print right to the edge, a band of about 4 mm stays white all around: keep your title block and dimensions inside it. If your plan must come out at an exact scale, export it at the sheet size and choose « Taille réelle » (real size) at the layout step (« Mise en page »): it then prints at 100%, neither enlarged nor reduced.
For plans larger than A3, in A2, A1 or A0, use the Plan printing page, printed on the plotter. For a bound final-year project, plans included, see the Theses and TFE page. If you study in Tournai or elsewhere in Wallonie picarde, collection at the store costs nothing; otherwise, have your plans delivered to your home or to a pickup point, allowing for delivery time before your submission or your jury.
